The list of things to go wrong for the Red Sox season is longer than the line of people waiting to get the iPhone5 on Friday.

They've had players argue with the manager, players argue with players, players underperform, managers undermanager, etc. etc.

But one player may have taken the ultimate step back: Daniel Bard.

Once seen as the anchor to the bullpen, Bard was moved to the rotation in hopes to sure things up on the back end. It didn't happen. He went back to the minors and hasn't been the same since. Bard is back with the Sox now that rosters have expanded, and pitched a doozy last night: He recorded zero outs while walking three and giving up a hit.
