BOSTON –- Andrew Bailey, who reclaimed the closer’s role when Joel Hanrahan went down with a right hamstring injury, will probably not be available to the Red Sox tonight. Bailey has pitched on three straight days and five of the last six.  Since April 17 in Cleveland, he has made five appearances, spanning five innings, recording four saves.
Manager John Farrell will look to other closer options, if needed, in his bullpen.

Right-hander Koji Uehara, Farrell said, is a possibility. Uehara last pitched on Sunday, going one inning, giving up a game-tying home run in the eighth inning. In nine appearances, spanning 7 2/3 innings, Uehara has recorded nine strikeouts with one intentional walk, giving up one run on four hits for a 1.17 ERA.
