HOUSTONThe Houston Astros have fired manager Brad Mills and coaches Mike Barnett and Bobby Meacham.
According to mlb.com, The Astros will hold a 9 a.m. press conference Sunday morning at Minute Maid Park in Houston, during which general manager Jeff Luhnow will introduce the interim manager and staff.
Mills served as Red Sox bench coach under former manager Terry Francona.

The Houston Astros have relieved Brad Mills of his managerial duties, General Manager Jeff Luhnow announced Saturday. Hitting coach Mike Barnett and first-base coach Bobby Meacham have also been relieved of their duties. The club will have no further comment until tomorrow.
