Danny Woodhead may not strike you as a West Coast guy, but nonetheless that's where he'll call home for the next two seasons.

Woodhead, of Hard Knocks fame with the Jets and then of actual production fame with the Patriots, agreed to terms with the Chargers on a two-year deal on Friday, the team announced.

In three seasons with the Patriots, Woodhead played in 45 games, rushing the ball 250 times for 1,199 yards and 10 touchdowns. Woodhead was also one of Brady's favorite targets out of the backfield. Woodhead made 92 catches for 982 yards and a four touchdowns for New England.

The Patriots are left with Stevan Riley, Shane Vereen, Brandon Bolden, and newly-signed Leon Washington out of the backfield.
