For the 14th time in their careers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning will face off against each other Sunday night in Foxboro.
Throughout the years, the debate on who is the better quarterback has gone back and forth, and there may be a clearer answer after the latest installment of the rivalry occurs this weekend.
Shaun King joined Tom E. Curran on Quick Slants to continue the debate.
“I’d take Tom Brady,” King said. “I think he has proven over his career that he’s capable of performing at his highest level on the biggest stages. As good as Peyton has been in the regular season, I think there is still a big question mark about his ability to play at that level when it matters the most.”
Even with Brady and Manning dominating the headlines, there is still a game to be played.
“[The Patriots] have a shot,” King said. “Because it seems like on offense they are starting to hit on all cylinders. Tom looks much more confident in the pocket. He’s throwing the ball with greater conviction than he was earlier in the year.”
