It’s the time of year to give thanks to the Boston sports teams.

The New England Tailgate crew discussed what they are most thankful for from the hometown teams.

“I am thankful as a sports fan that this has been a phenomenal run, not just by the New England Patriots,” said Glenn Ordway, “but if you live in New England with the Red Sox, with the Bruins, with the Celtics, eight championships in 12 years, 12 finals in 12 years. Unheard of, will never happen again.”

A big part in the decade of dominance has been the play of the Patriots, as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick could go down as the greatest quarterback-coach combo in the history of football.

“I am thankful we are living in the Belichick-Brady era and that both are at the top of their games,” Smerlas said. “Very seldom do people get to go through that. So keep your Brady and Belichick hats at your side because they have many more years to give us win after win after win.”
