At the beginning of the season, many were expecting Stevan Ridley to keep trending upward after a breakout season last year.
However, fumbling woes have hurt Ridley’s performance this season, and have kept him off the field.
Tom E. Curran and Mary Paoletti took viewer’s questions about Ridley and other Patriots on Quick Slants.
“I think he is too valuable to put moth balls for the season,” Curran said. “But I certainly think the Patriots are going to take a zero tolerance policy as we saw Sunday night and he is going to have to earn his way back into the lineup.”
Ridley’s performance isn’t the only disappoint. The play of Dont’a Hightower has come into question after a lackluster performance against the Denver Broncos.
“Slow, lost, and slightly disinterested too,” said Curran of Hightower. “I was shocked on the third-and-20 conversion how out of position and disinterested Hightower looked. Additionally, on the throw to Jacob Tamme for a touchdown, completely lost. You’re exactly right Jay, he’s got to get things right and get it right in a hurry.”
