On Friday, Tom E. Curran revealed that the Patriots waived undrafted rookie T.J. Moe.

The move came after the former Missouri receiver suffered a torn Achilles tendon, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Moe, an undrafted free agent out of Missouri, received the largest contract of any of New England's undrafted signees following the 2013 NFL Draft. If he passes through waivers, the Patriots will be able to retain him and place him on injured reserve.  Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran expects this will be the case.

During his career at Missouri, the wideout caught 188 passes, including a 92-catch sophomore season.
