FOXBORO -- New England held a full pads practice Wednesday morning on the upper field behind Gillette Stadium. Cornerback Aqib Talib, who was not seen during the media access portion of Monday's session, was back with the team.

Danny Amendola was on hand for a second-straight workout. Though it's positive news he won't need surgery for a sports hernia, a torn right groin still has the receiver looking hobbled in agility drills.

Only two players were missing: Cornerback Marquice Cole and special teams captain Matthew Slater. Reportedly, Slater is sidelined with a broken bone in his hand. Cole was on the Week 2 injury report because of a bad hamstring.

An updated practice and participation report will be released around 4 p.m. today.
