FOXBORO -- Aqib Talib is back in action.
The extent of which is not known; the cornerback, who injured a hip flexor last weekend against the Saints, was on the field Friday but didn't finish the team's jog. It's the first time this week Talib practiced, so it is possible he could play Sunday against the Jets. Is it probable? We'll have a better idea when the Patriots release Friday's participation report.
Defensive tackle Tommy Kelly (knee), Danny Amendola (concussion), and running back Leon Washington (ankle) have less of a chance for game day activation as they've missed all three sessions this week.
Dan Connolly, who suffered a concussion against the Saints, was on hand for a second-consecutive day after missing Wednesday's workout.
The full report is expected around 4 p.m. The Patriots will make their way to MetLife Stadium on Saturday.
