FOXBORO -- Aqib Talib, Alfonzo Dennard and Steve Gregory were all back on the field for Thursday afternoon's sweats and shells Patriots practice.

Dennard, who is dealing with a knee injury and reportedly underwent a minor surgical procedure last week, appeared to moving reasonably well during the warmup portion of practice. He did, however, go about half speed during sprints at the end of the warmup.

Talib also seemed to be moving OK during the early part of the session made available to media. His balky hip forced him out of New England's loss to the Panthers in the fourth quarter.

Gregory, dealing with a surgically repaired thumb, was on the practice field sporting some kind of cast or brace on his right hand.

Tight end Michael Hoomanawanui was not spotted for the second straight day.

Former Patriots defensive lineman Mike Wright visited practice as a spectator and looked significantly lighter than he did during his playing days. Patriots linebackers coach Pepper Johnson referred to Wright as "Slim."
