Brandon Spikes has been a guy that seemed to go to the beat of his own drum at Gillette Stadium over his first four seasons in New England.
Often times, that's worked against him with Bill Belichick and the Patriots. Spikes was put on the IR list prior to the team's AFC Divisional game against the Colts last season, the final straw in what was an up-and-down relationship with the club.
It was no surprise to see the team not re-sign him over the offseason. Instead, Spikes signed a deal with the Bills.
Now, he's sounding off against New England on his favorite media platform, Twitter, and even going after his (former) fans.
Spikes started, "Great games on the schedule for 2014, but it's going to be like Christmas to hand the #Patriots #PatriotsNation a L...twice! #BILLSMAFIA"
It didn't end there. He kept egging on Pats fans: "it's icing on my cake to hand the #Patriots two big L's this year. #justwatch"
Spikes then Tweeted out, "Four years a slave."
That's most likely a reference to the four years he spent in New England.
It sounds like Spikes lost plenty of Pats fans on this day, or as he would call them, "Massholes".
"I'll tweet in a sec. Busy blocking every single #MassHole one sec #Twitter brb," he wrote.
That followed later with two more Tweets: "Still blocking MassHoles lol" and "Lol don't call me a thug #Masshole go head and say what u really wanna say !!!"
