Brandon Spikes made the game-changing play on Sunday against the Bills. SportsNet Central's Mike Giardi and CSNNE Patriots insider Tom E. Curran are wondering if he can make those plays consistently.
Spikes' hit on Bills running back C.J. Spiller forced a fumble at the goal line and saved at least three, and probably seven points. It began the turnaround for the Pats in a 52-28 victory in Buffalo.
While CSNNE Patriots analyst Troy Brown calls Spikes the best linebacker against the run in football, Curran and Girardi say they'd like to see a little more consistency from him.
"Few arrive at the ball with as much fury as he does," Curran said.
