James Develin has played his role in the Patriot’s offense quite well this season. And with the injury to Gronkowski, Develin could see an increase in his role coming up soon.
Tom E. Curran and Mary Paoletti took viewer’s questions on Quick Slants, and one of them concerned Develin.
“I think James Develin as an h-back is a definite opportunity because he has surprised with his ability to run tough and to make some catches out of the back field,” Curran said.
Paoletti agreed with Curran stating that in recent weeks Develin has been a solid contributor to the offense.
“I think Brady said it after his one-yard touchdown [against Houston], he’s earned more opportunities,” Paoletti said. “The Patriots are now confident in his ability to be tough and run.”
