Tim Tebow hasn't played a huge role for the Jets after coming over from the Broncos during the offseason. Rex Ryan has said Tebow might play runningback for the Jets on Sunday. That might not be his most important role this week. His most important roll may have been playing the role of Tom Brady.

During practice this week, Ryan had Tebow work without the scout team as Tom Brady.

I thought we had a good week of practice, Ryan said. Obviously, its hard to simulate their tempo, their no-huddle, how precise Brady is, and those types of things, but we did our best. Tebow had a good grasp playing under Josh McDaniels and being drafted by Josh, so he did a nice job at quarterback for us, I thought. The scout team did well. We did our best out there. I thought our preparation was good.

In addition to playing Tom Brady in practice, Tebow also gave some insight to the Jets about how his former coach Josh McDaniels may call the game on Sunday.
