If you thought four surgeries on Rob Gronkowski's arm was scary, you may want to sit down for this next bit of news.
USA Today Sports reports that Gronkowski recently underwent an MRI on his back to check a disc issue he's had dating back to last season, and he could need surgery.
Pro Football Talk reports that surgery is "probable".
The disc is a different one than the one that was shaved down during a 2009 surgery, according to the USA Today Sports.
The recovery time for that type of back surgery doesn't appear to be too significant, but PFT reports that the surgery is scheduled to take place "three to four weeks" after surgery on Gronk's arm next week.
