Connecticut state police divers were at a pond in Bristol, Conn. Monday morning to look for evidence connected to the Aaron Hernandez case, according to multiple reports.
Investigators from the Bristol County District Attorney's office in Massachusetts, which is overseeing the investigation into the June 17 killing of Odin Lloyd, are also at the scene.
Hernandez, who grew up in Bristol, Conn., has been charged in Lloyd's killing.
The weapon used to kill Lloyd last month has not yet been recovered. Investigators believe the weapon is a Glock pistol -- the same kind of pistol that Hernandez was seen on video holding in his North Attleborough, Mass. home shortly after the killing.
Police scuba divers are at Pine Lake in Bristol, which is also known as Malones Pond.
