Report: Patriots sign Lloyd

There are reports from ESPN that the New England Patriots have reached an agreement with free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd.

The Patriots and Lloyd have been linked in rumors all off season and now it appears the dynamic receiver will be Tom Brady's new weapon.

In 2010, Lloyd led the league with 1,448 yards receiving, when he caught 77 passes, 11 of them for touchdowns.

Lloyd looks to re-join Josh McDaniels, who was Lloyd's head coach in Denver.

Lloyd is the second receiver signed by the Patriots on Saturday. Earlier in the day they locked up former Colts wideout Anthony Gonzalez.
