Report: Patriots place Richard on IR; pick up Waldron

Jamey Richard was put on IR.The GC left New England's July 29 practice with a concussion -- not the first of his career. Richard's season is officially over.
Nick McDonald passed his physical. The reserve CG will be taken off the ActivePUP list. The Patriots are clearly looking to bolster the offensive line and getting McDonald back as soon as possible will help.
