The Chad Johnson saga continues.
The former Patriots receiver, formerly known as Chad Ochocinco, will serve 30 days of jail time after violating his probation in a domestic violence case with then-wife and reality TV star Evelyn Lozada, according to a report by ESPN.com
Johnson was at Broward County Courthouse in Florida Monday to work a plea deal that involved no jail time, but it was rejected by judge Kathleen McHugh after Johnson slapped his attorney on the behind while in court. According to the report, McHugh said that Johnson wasn't taking things seriously enough. On top of that, she extended his probation for three months.
Johnson, 35, pleaded no contest after reportedly head-butting Lozada during an argument last August. Johnson was cut by the Patriots last summer before being signed by the Miami Dolphins during training camp. Johnson was then cut by the Dolphins shortly after the incident with Lozada, and hasn't played in the NFL since.
