Report: Bucs sign former Patriots' WR Underwood

Former Patriots wide receiver Tiquan Underwood, released by the team last week, is now a Tampa Bay Buccaneer.

Underwood was the odd-man out on a Patriots team that revamped it's wide receiver corp., and now he'll get a chance to earn a roster spot with new Bucs head coach and former Rutgers head coach, Greg Schiano.

Schiano coached Underwood while at Rutgers. In four seasons at Rutgers under Schiano, Underwood had 132 receptions for 1,931 yards and 16 touchdowns.

The news was first reported by Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
