WATCH: Curran 1-on-1 with Belichick

You didn't hear? It's been all over the national weather reports: Bill Belichick's dark cloud lifted Sunday night in Indianapolis.

In an exclusive -- EXCLUSIVE!!! (is that how they do it?) -- interview with Belichick, Tom E. Curran asked why he's chosen to be more personable during Super Bowl week.

"I don't know, Tom. I always thought I was pretty personable," Belichick said in his deadpan style. "We're all here for the result on Sunday night, but in the meantime I think our team can enjoy the experience and prepare for the game."

He mentioned what an honor it is for the Patriots to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, and how the hoopla surrounding the game dissipates after kickoff. And then came this admission: after seven Super Bowl appearances, Belichick has a level of nervousness leading into number eight.

"Well, I mean sure," Belichick said. "We're playing against a great team and it's a big game. We're playing for a championship, we all want to do our best. Yeah, there's a little bit of anxiety there. Of course."

Take a minute and a half out of your life and watch the interview. It's worth it.
