Possible Pats' Pro Bowlers paying no mind

FOXBORO - Matt Light's been selected to three Pro Bowls in his 11-year NFL career. Is he looking forward to learning tonight whether or not he's been selected to a fourth?"I could care less about all that stuff," Light scoffed. Playing for a team that makes its players publicly eschew individual honors and awards, Light's response was not surprising. But he did allow that there are plenty of Patriots deserving of being named the best at their position in the AFC. "We got a lot of guys who go out there and work hard and prepare hard," Light said. "It's not an easy system to be in. I've been fortunate to be in this system for quite a while now and it's nothing you take for granted as far as all the work you put into it. We've got a lot of guys who really stepped up and done a lot of great things and we have some guys who know how to play the game pretty well."Light was second in Pro Bowl fan voting. Fans, players and coaches votes all count one-third toward the selection process. Second-year tight end Aaron Hernandez was second in fan voting as well trailing teammate Rob Gronkowski for the tight end spot in the AFC. Asked if he'd be happy with a selection, Hernandez said, "Definitely, That's the stuff you dream of. Hopefully it happens but if not, we're still moving forward."
