Some fans are already pushing the panic button after the way the Patriots played last week in a 13-6 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Scott Pioli of the NBC Sports Network joined Tom E. Curran on Quick Slants to explain his reasoning on why New England should not be anywhere near the panic button.

“It’s one loss and they lost to a really good football team,” Pioli said. “They played one of the best defenses, or certainly the best front sevens in the National Football League. It’s one loss, New England, you’re going to be okay.”

Pioli also talked about the Kansas City Chiefs’ 5-0 start, where he was a general manger from 2009 to 2012.

“I don’t believe when you leave a place that you leave angry or mad at people,” Pioli said. “I’m happy for the Chiefs, their fans, and specially their ownership.”
