Our cousins at Pro Football Talk have taken on the challenge of ranking all 32 teams heading into training camp.

On Sunday, they unveiled the Patriots, checking in at No. 7.

The offseason from hell and roster turnover at the receiver spot are reasons a team that was in the final four and final two over the past two seasons are projecting to slip.

"...It was anything but quiet in New England. How much will all the noise wind up mattering, though?" asked PFT's Josh Alper. "The Patriots have seen players come and go for all sorts of reasons since the start of the Bill Belichick/Tom Brady era and they’ve kept on ticking. This might be a bigger challenge than some of those other years, but betting against them still doesn’t feel like a good idea."

The Packers, Saints and Texans round out the top 10 behind New England. Still to be unveiled are the Niners, Ravens, Seahawks, Broncos, Falcons and Bengals. Yeah, I said Bengals.

All the preseason power rankings are right here. Thanks, PFT.
