Well, it didn't take long for the Patriots to replace Wes Welker.

Less than three hours after losing Welker to the Broncos, the Patriots signed Rams slot receiver Danny Amendola to a five-year, $31 million contract . . . which dwarfs the two-year, $12 million deal Welker signed with Denver. In addition, both deals have $10 million in guaranteed salary.
