Jason Licht, who first started in the Patriots personnel department back in 1999, interviewed for the Bears' vacant GM job Monday. Licht was the first of five candidates the Bears plan to speak with, according to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times. Originally a scout for the Patriots in 1999, Licht left New England in 2002 to work for the Eagles and then the Cardinals. He came back to the Patriots in 2009. Jensen reports that the Chiefs' Phil Emery, Jimmy Raye of the Chargers, Marc Ross of the Giants and Tim Ruskell - who already works for Chicago - are the other options.
