NFL minicamp is in the books, and our guys Tom E. Curran, Mike Giardi, and Phil Perry were on hand to see it in New England.
Now they can tell you just about everything you want to know about what the Patriots will look like and how they'll fare this season.
You won't get a whole lot X's and O's-wise out of mini camp, but you get a little sense of how players are interacting with one another.
"I don't think you can take away from a lot in terms of guys lining up in the wrong spot or accuracy being off or any of that stuff.," Curran said. "I think what you can take away is the tenor of the team, and I think the one thing we've seen throughout these OTAs and minicamp is Tom Brady and the rest of the team really focusing a lot on the mental state of the team."
Perry says you have to be careful not to read into too much.
"Can't look at it and say, 'This is what the first unit is going to be, this is what the second unit is going to be, wow this undrafted guy, he could be a starter by the end of this thing.' No, we're not going to do that."
And Giardi sums up most of our thoughs.
"Get me to training camp when there's actual competition, and then we'll see."
We're counting down the days.
