The Patriots have signed wide receiver Donald Jones, formerly of the Bills, to a three-year deal, Tom E. Curran confirms.
Jones, a three-year veteran, made a career-high 41 catches for 443 yards and four touchdowns last season as a member of the Bills, two of which came against the Patriots in two separate games. For his career, he has 82 catches for 887 yards and six touchdowns in 35 games.
Patriots fans might remember him as the player Vince Wilfork de-cleated with a huge hit in Week 4.
The Patriots officially signed wide receiver Danny Amendola and running back/kick returner Leon Washington yesterday. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders is visiting the team today.
