FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed first-year OL Luke Patterson and rookie OL Brice Schwab. Terms of the contracts were not announced.
The Patriots made a handful of roster moves prior to Friday's practice.
The team announced that it has signed first-year offensive lineman Luke Patterson and rookie offensive lineman Brice Schwab, and released defensive lineman Travis Chappelear and rookie long snapper Mike Zupancic.
Patterson, 25, is 6-foot-4, 295-pounds, and spent parts of the last two seasons on the Chiefs’ practice squad.
Schwab, 23, was originally signed by Tampa Bay as a rookie free agent on April 29, 2013, and was released by the Buccaneers on July 31, 2013. He stands at 6-foot-7, 302-pounds, and started at right tackle in 17 of 22 games that he played at Arizona State in 2010
