Patriots sign DT Siliga, TE Williams to roster

The Patriots have added two men to the 53-man roster on Wednesday, signing DT Sealver Siliga and TE D.J. Williams.

Siliga, 23, was signed by the Patriots to the practice squad on Oct. 23. He stands a t 6-foot-2, 325 pounds and should replace Marcus Forston who was released by the Patriots earlier this week.

Siliga has spent time with San Francisco, Denver, and Seattle since joining the NFL as a rookie free agent with the 49ers in 2011 out of Utah.

Williams entered the NFL as a 5th-round draft pick (101st overall) by Green Bay, out of Arkansas in 2011. He was waived by Green Bay on August 31, 2013 and claimed off eaivers and awarded to Jacksonville on Sept. 1, 2013.

He played seven games for the Jaguars this season, including one start. He's played in 22 games with three starts and has nine receptions for 70 yards.

The Patriots also signed T Patrick Ford to the practice squad. Ford was originally signed by the Jets as a rookie free agent this year out of Eastern Kentucky.
