The Patriots officially announced on Tuesday that they have signed fourth-round draft pick Josh Boyce, a receiver out of TCU, and seventh-round defensive lineman Michael Buchanan out of Illinois.
Boyce and Buchanan are the fifth and sixth picks signed by the Patriots since April's Draft, leaving Marshall receiver Aaron Dobson -- a third round selection -- as the only Pats pick not to be signed by the team yet.
Boyce finished his career at TCU first on the school's all-time touchdown reception list with 22 to go along with 161 career receptions for 2,535 receiving yards, both third in school history. The 5-foot-11, 203-pound receiver set the school record with 66 grabs for 891 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
Buchanan, listed at 6-foot-6, 250 pounds, finished his Illinois career with 161 tackles and 14 sacks. He was named second-team All-Big Ten last season with 57 tackles and 4.5 sacks while starting all 12 games for the Fighting Illini.
