The Patriots filled out their 90-man roster by signing undrafted rookie tackle Chris Martin out of Central Florida.
The 6-foot-5, 305-pounder has the type of versatility that the Patriots typically covet: He played both tackle spots and got four starts at tight end during his college career. As a senior he started in 11 games at right tackle and two at left tackle.
Martin was a second-teamer in the All-American Athletic Conference but went undrafted last month. He signed with Bill O'Brien's Houston Texans on May 16 and was released on May 27.
