The Patriots have added depth to their offensive line as they have announced the signing of former BC Eagle Matt Tennant.
Tennant will likely serve as an insurance policy in case Logan Mankins (hip) or Nick McDonald (shoulder) can't go on Sunday against the Bills.
The 25-year-old was claimed off waivers from the New Orleans Saints during the preseason. He was released by the Patriots before the regular season.
The fifth-round pick in 2010 by the Saints, Tennant has played both center and guard.
