Hopefully Marquice Cole didn't waste any time cleaning out his locker.
One day after the cornerback was released by the Patriots, he was re-signed by the team. In order to make room for Cole on the 53-man roster, the Patriots announced that they have released OL Josh Kline.
The 29-year-old corner and core special teamer is entering his fifth NFL season. Last year, his first in New England after spending the first three years of his career with the Jets, he finished with 14 tackles, 3 passes defensed and one interception. He had seven special teams tackles. In two playoff games last season, he had eight tackles, four on special teams.
Kline, 23, was signed as a rookie free agent in early May.
