The NFL Network continues unveiling its list of the top 100 players of 2014 Wednesday night at 9 p.m.

Players 41-50 will be unveiled and NFL Network emailed a release earlier in the week saying a Patriot will be in the mix.

No Patriots were in the group from 51 to 100.

Patriots who would have business on the list in general would be Tom Brady, Logan Mankins, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Vince Wilfork, Chandler Jones, Rob Ninkovich, Jerod Mayo, Darrelle Revis and Devin McCourty.

Browsing through the players already named, it seems as if Jones and Ninkovich are unlikely to appear in the top 50. Wilfork and Mayo – who’ve both been on it previously – may be left off entirely as well. If Edelman isn’t on after his 2013 season it would be a bit of a surprise. McCourty may not have the league-wide recognition to end up on the list either, even though he’s been outstanding at safety for two season.

Revis, Gronkowski, Mankins and Brady seem the likeliest.

Six Broncos have already been named – Demarcus Ware (56), Wes Welker (73), Von Miller (76), Aqib Talib (79), T.J. Ward (82), Louis Vasquez (97).
