Two reports came out on Monday night regarding Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis.
The first one had the Bucs actively shopping the Pro Bowl cornerback. The second had them planning on cutting Revis before the 4pm deadline if they couldn't find a team to trade him to, therefore making him a free agent.
The Patriots, like every other team in the NFL, are up on this news. But perhaps unlike some teams, Revis' name is at least being discussed among Patriots front office personnel.
I can tell you Pats have had internal discussions about Revis. Where those discussions were left was not revealed to me #PatriotsTalk— Michael Giardi (@MikeGiardi) March 11, 2014
