One joint practice isn't enough for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.
Already set to hold one with the Saints in Foxboro on August 8 and 9 prior to their first preseason game, the Patriots have scheduled yet another with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa Bay.
From the Bucs' Twitter account:
The Patriots are scheduled to play the Bucs in Tampa on 824 but they're coming to town early for joint practices at One Buc on 822 & 823. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (@TBBuccaneers) July 20, 2012
Belichick and new Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano are friends from back when Schiano coached Rutgers, which explains one reason for the practices. The other obvious reason would be to just get in some practice time against unfamiliar faces.
