Gary Tanguay and Kirk Minihane discuss the upcoming Patriots - Broncos game and how the regular season game has zero effect on what's to come.

Remember the Patriots' amazing comeback win over the Broncos in the regular season in Week 12?

Of course you do!

Well, guess what . . . fuhgetaboutit!

That game means diddly squat now.

The NFL is a week-by-week beast. What happens the week before has no effect on the week after. That's absolutely the case for the Patriots and Broncos too.

Plenty of players who played in that game are out now, and some who either didn't play or didn't play a big role, now are more important.

Well, first of all the start of that game was totally goofy. You know that's not going to happen, the turnovers you have to imagine aren't going to happen again. I'd throw that game out. If they played two weeks ago I'd throw that game out. the NFL is like that, week by week it doesn't matter. If you look at that game at all, you're nuts."
