The New England Patriots will have to move on from their loss against the New York Jets.
They will get the chance to do that this Sunday when they host divisional rival Miami Dolphins.
Devin McCourty joined Tom E. Curran on Quick Slants to discuss last week’s loss before the team moves onto facing Miami.
“That Monday you just got to get it out of you,” McCourty said. “We come in and work out, try to get everything out of us. And now, we are trying to move forward. You never like losing. And I think everyone in the New England area knows you never like losing to the Jets.”
McCourty could have his hands full Sunday, when the secondary will have to contain Miami’s speedy wide receiver Mike Wallace.
“[Wallace] can run with anyone,” McCourty said. “I guess the better words to say, he can run by anyone. He has really done that his whole career. So, it’s going to be key for us this week.”
