It's been a rough month for Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus.
He was arrested on May 5 for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. On Friday Dareus' 2012 Jaguar was found by a police officer crashed into a tree in front of a restaurant Friday afternoon after a drag race not far from the Bills' practice facility. He was charged by Hamburg, NY police with second degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving and participating in an illegal speed contest, according to ESPN's Mike Rodak.
Bills head coach Doug Marrone met with reporters after Buffalo's OTA session on Tuesday and said that Dareus will miss the remainder of the team's OTAs.
"Marcell has made some poor decisions lately," Marrone said, per Rodak. "He's dealing with a lost of personal issues too."
Marrone added: "I believe in Marcell."
Dareus, the third overall pick in the 2011 draft, recorded 7.5 sacks last season for Buffalo and has 18.5 sacks and 10 passes defensed in his three-year career with the Bills. In two games against the Patriots last season, he had two tackles.
