Manning: Patriots could ‘easily' be undefeated

FOXBORO -- Peyton Manning hasn't played the Patriots since November of 2010. So he didn't feel comfortable comparing this year's New England defense with one of the New England defenses he's faced in the past.
But he does know one thing. The Patriots could very well be undefeated right now.
"I can't speak to the comparison," said Manning on Wednesday about the Patriots' defense. "Right now, we're studying them through the week. I didn't play against them last year. I think the best way to learn about a team is to play against them. And it's been two years since I've played against them.
"I know they're creating a lot of turnovers. I know they've had chances to win. They easily could be 4-0 at this point. And they're coming off a huge road win in the division, in typical Patriots fashion, a 60-minute game."
