The Patriots went into halftime down 24-0 to the Broncos and with little to no positives to take from it.
Momentum was on the side of the Broncos, and it looked like the Patriots were just not with it.
But something happened at halftime. The Patriots came out strong on both sides of the ball, and chipped away at the Broncos lead. They scored three touchdowns in the third quarter and all of a sudden it was a game.
Logan Mankins joined Postgame Live for his weekly appearance, where he talked about the attitude of the team going into the second half.
"I think number one is just holding onto the ball," Mankins said. "We had so many turnovers there in the first half it was just unbelievable. But at halftime we just rallied together. I think the message there was one play at a time. We can't score 24 on one drive and get back in it so let's try to put one drive together and see what happens. We were fortunate we did that, they had some turnovers, and we got right back into the game."
