FOXBORO -- Thursday was one of those "I don’t give a crap what the weather is, get your [expletive] on and get out there, we’re practicing outside" kind of days for the Patriots.
Tom Brady told WEEI's Dennis and Callahan Show about a month ago that those are essentially the words coach Bill Belichick uses with his team before heading out into ugly weather for work. Despite a steady snow and temperatures that dipped below 20 degrees, the Patriots nixed the warmth and comfort of the Dana-Farber Fieldhouse for the game turf inside Gillette Stadium for a sweats and shells practice.
As was the case on Wednesday, Logan Mankins, Alfonzo Dennard, Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce were missing from practice. Austin Collie appears to have re-joined the team -- someone wearing No. 10 who looked an awful lot like Collie was out there for the early portion of practice -- though his re-signing has not been officially announced.
