Ryan Mallet, who will likely spend another season as Tom Brady's backup with the Patriots, discussed his development in the Pats offense at training camp.

Mallet, a third-round pick out of the University of Arkansas in 2011, was Brady's backup last season and comes into camp No. 2 on the depth chart again, ahead of heralded offseason acquisition Tim Tebow.

Mallet said the training camp reps have him more comfortable than ever.

"I feel confident in everything I'm doing," he said. "It's another year experience, another year in the system. You learn more than you thought you knew before."
