FOXBORO -- New England's streak of perfect practice attendance ended Friday. Defensive tackle Tommy Kelly was not spotted at the session, so it seems unlikely he'll play in Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. A right knee injury has kept Kelly out of the team's last three contests. Though he did resume workouts this week, his absence after Thursday's full-pads practice is not a good sign.
Otherwise, the Patriots had a full house. And they were in-house; the team moved inside the Dana-Farber Field House for the first time this season because a wind advisory is in effect for the area. Head coach Bill Belichick noted that, while he's not opposed to having his players practice in such conditions, it's not safe for the camera operators who perch on the hydraulic scissor lifts.
A full participation and injury report will be released around 4 p.m.
