The two best teams in the AFC have perhaps made the best moves in the NFL's offseason so far.

We're talking about the Patriots and the Broncos. Duh.

NBC's Ross Tucker joined Mike Giardi on CSNNE's SportsNet Central to discuss which team has done better than the other so far.

"I think if you're being fair you'd have to say the Broncos at this point," Tucker said, "because they've added to their team a little bit more than the Patriots have."

Tucker cites the addition of T.J. Ward and DeMarcus Ware as big additions and improvements to the Broncos.

He says the Patriots have done a lot of substituting, not adding to new positions (Darrelle Revis for Aqib Talib - who went to Denver).

"I guess you could say that [the Patriots] added [Brandon] Browner and a guy like Brandon LaFell, but I'd say the jury is still way out on both those guys."

The jury is not out on the Jets front office. It's pretty much unanimous that nobody knows what on earth they're doing over there. Tucker is among the masses scratching his head.

"What's interesting about it is they've got plenty of money . . . they have not elected to pony up for some of these players," Tucker said. "What I don't like about it, is it doesn't feel like there's a plan. If you decide to bring back the coach for another year . . . at least give him a chance. You know what Rex Ryan likes, he likes cover guys. There's none left!"
