NEW YORK -- Cornerback Dee Milliner knew exactly how to endear himself to Jets fans after New York selected him 9th overall.

"It's always a good challenge to go up against one of the greatest quarterbacks in our division. I'm looking forward to that," the Alabama product told USA Today. "Hopefully, I get my hands on a couple of his balls and take them back."

Recently, the fight between these AFC East rivals has been New England's to lose. The Jets did steal 2010's all-important divisional playoff, but it's one of just two games New York has won in the pair's last eight meetings. Gotham's natives are restless; pushing the Patriots button was a smart move by the Jets' draft pick.

By both draft picks.

"Everybody wants a piece of Tom Brady and guys of their stature," freshly-selected defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson said. "They don't get touched a lot, really, or throw picks. So we've got to make him do that."
