The Patriots are in need of a cornerback, whether it's Aqib Talib returning or some other free agent.

Let's assume for a second that Darrelle Revis isn't coming to New England (a very strong possibility) . . . what free agents are out there?

Well, there's Dominique Rogers-Cromartie, Vontae Davis, Sam Shields, Charles Tillman, and Alterraun Verner at the top of the list.

But it's looking like the Pats and Talib could very well get a deal done.

Mike Felger spoke with the Boston Herald's Jeff Howe about that on Tuesday night on whether or not the Pats will give Talib a deal like Brent Grimes, four years, $32 million.

"I think they're going to be tempted to," Howe said. And you know what you got to like the fact that they've been aggressive, they have continued these negotiations with him since the end of the season."

Check out the video to see what other players the Patriots could sign if they don't sign Talib, and if there are players at other positions the Pats are targeting.
