Can we expect Aqib Talib to ever fully recover from his recurring hip injuries?
On Patriots Wednesday Live, Gary Tanguay and Troy Brown discuss what Talib's nagging hip problem means for New England's best corner and the rest of the Patriots defense.
"I don't know if it's going to be something in the short term that's curable," said Troy Brown, "or if it's something he's going to be dealing with the rest of his career."
If Talib misses any more time, corners like Alfonzo Dennard, Kyle Arrington and Marquice Cole will need to help pick up the slack. And that won't be easy considering both Dennard (knee) and Arrington (groin) are dealing with relatively new injuries of their own.
"I'm just worried," Tanguay said, "this thing's not ever going away."
"He's been playing lights out football," Brown added. "It's a shame he hasn't been able to stay on the field."
